Work by Mexican pianist, arranger, conductor and composer Fernando Zenaido Maldonado Rivera (Cárdenas, 1917-1996), alias Fred McDonald. Fernando worked extensively as artistic director and arranger while pianist. As a composer proved a huge creative versatility, composing ballads, boleros, cumbias, waltzes and especially in his creations highlighting ranch-style, among which was outstanding 'Volber, volver'. This album includes twelve songs performed on piano and dedicated to the music of Mayab, original name of the territory now called Yucatan in Mexico.Track list:
