As promised, the second post of Marianne Schroeder interpreting Scelsi’s piano works, again on the Bösendorfer Imperial.
This was the first recording of the piano suites 9 and 10 – better known under their Sanskrit names “Ttai” and “Ka”.
I like the pieces a lot. They're mainly soft-natured and poetical. How different from his later orchestral and choral works, which sound so much darker and threatening!
