One of the most original works of Haris Alexiou. The idea of releasing this special album belongs to the unforgettable Manos Hadjidakis, who made the arrangements and directed the orchestra. The 12 ballads selected by the two artists are really "unexpected". Compositions of Manos Hadjidakis, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Apostolos Kaldaras, Nino Rota, Kurt Weil, J. Frenkel, together with rebetika, traditional songs, even the libanese hymn "Wa Habibi", all in the same CD. Amazing beauty is the linking element. The result remained in greek musical history. Enjoy.
