Album released in Holland as a compilation of 20 songs ballroom dance performed by the orchestra of the German musician, conductor and arranger Heinz Kretzschmar. In 1947 Heinz founded his big band, with whom he worked until 1957 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, preferably dedicated to jazz music. Later he worked as an instrumentalist with major orchestras such as Max Greger or WDR Cologne. Accompanied renowned soloists as Stan Getz, Oscar Peterson and Benny Bailey, as arranged for musical 'My Fair Lady' and finally, since 1995, he created his 'Swingtett'. This CD contains a selection of suitable subjects for ballroom, Latin and standard modalities, with different styles as quickstep, slowfox, samba, tango and jive among others.Track list:
