Lovano is one of the best saxophone players in the world; he released his latest album "Bird Songs" in 2011 which is a personal tribute to Charlie Parker. Werner is a world-class pianist and composer and his prolific output of compositions, recordings and publications continue to impact audiences around the world. They, together with Brussels Jazz Orchestra (BJO), were the highlights of the Dianat Jazz Nights festival held in July, 2011.
