The Cuban Machito was an influential Latin jazz musician, which helped improve both initial Afro-Cuban jazz, Latin jazz first stage, as the 'salsa' and created the Cubop (fusion of Cuban music and jazz bebop) . This album is a compilation produced two years after his death and brings 12 songs from his repertoire differentiating chachachás and mambos. Machito died from a heart attack performing at a concert at Ronnie Scott's in London.Track list:
