Mattia Cigalini - Adamas (2016)

Born in 1989, she performs in concert at the age of 12 years. For the European specialized critics, one of the most interesting talents of the new generation of musicians. Graduated from the Conservatory "G.Nicolini" of Piacenza with honors, receiving several awards (Award "L.Zorzella" as "Best Italian Talent" Awards "Life Life", "The road of Jazz", "Tullio Besa" , International Massimo Urbani Award, and many others).

She recorded her first album in 18 years leading: "Arriving Soon", commissioned by the Japanese record company "Pony Canyon", with Tullio De Piscopo, Fabrizio Bosso, Andrea Pozza and Riccardo Fioravanti.
The album won the award for "Best Jazz Album of 2010" in the ranking compiled by Japanese magazine Swing Journal.
In October of 2009 he made his first tour of Japan, enjoying considerable success with audiences and critics. Rave reviews were also published in Italian magazines, French (Jazz Hot, SoundWax), German (Jazz Thing) and English.
greater artistic maturity search with "RES NOVA", the second album recorded in 2011 for EMI-MyFavorite and presented officially during Umbria Jazz Festival 2011.
Later collaborates with the record company CAM JAZZ, for which publishes "Beyond" (2013), its European premiere at the International Festival of Münster recording "sold-out".
In 2013 Cigalini performs at the famous "Jazz Standard" in New York, as a guest of the "Mingus Big Band".
He gives concerts as a "special guest" with the American group / collective "Opus 5", formed by Seamus Blake, Alex Sipiagin, Dave Kikoski, Boris Koslov, Donald Edwards, and with the quartet of Bobby Watson.
He collaborates with several Italian and foreign artists (Uri Caine, Randy Brecker, Stefano Bollani, Paolo Fresu, and many others), performing in some of the most famous theaters, festivals and concert halls in Europe and the world.
