Norgard’s complete compositions for solo guitar, as performed by Stefan Östersjö. These are mainly quiet and meditative works. We don’t see modern work for acoustic guitar around that often; again, the Swedish composer has a lot to say. We can almost hear him looking for things in these charming pieces, as if he is wrestling with novel themes.
Sound quality of the cds is very good, which always helps to appreciate the music, of course.
