Album by the composer, arranger and British director Roland Shaw (1920-2008). Shaw was band director in the Royal Air Force during World War II, then went on to work for the period 1966-1971 with Decca Records and with arrangements for their own orchestrations worked and collaborated with other directors of great orchestras of the time (Ted Heath, Frank Chacksfield, Mantovani, etc.). He also made arrangements for movies and various singers and performers (Caterina Valente, The Beverly Sisters, Cliff Richard, Kenny Baker, etc.). He has been recognized for arrangements and interpretations of the songs of the James Bond film series. On this album, Shaw makes a personal interpretation of recognized classics of Mexican, Latin and Spanish music (even incorporates flamenco repertoire) trying to expose the multifaceted Latin character with that Mexican music can express.Track list:
