Sienna Skies are a 6-piece Hard Rock/Metal band from Sydney, Australia. Their debut album was named "Truest of Colours" and this one has made them famous around the world.
In 2007 the band released there first Ep titled "Where Joy Exists Despair Beckons" and has seen the band tour consistantly up and down the East Coast of Australia as well as a very successful tours of New Zealand.
Coming from the debut EP, "Where Joy Exists, Despair Beckons" Sienna Skies have grown as a band, evolving into a strong and dynamic act. There's many bands out there doing this sound, enjoying mediocre succes and pushing the boundaries of modern-day post hardcore, but it can be said that the Australian Act combines the elements the best, though at times, the guitars are drowned out by the heavy relience on the keys of Matt Wells. That being said, Truest Of Colours remains of the one of the most carefully constructed releases of the past few years, leaving at least one fan eagerly anticipating their work in the future.nickhall21
