This CD contains more than its share of brilliant music. Tenor man Stan Getz meets up with baritonist Gerry Mulligan, trumpeter Harry "Sweets" Edison, the Oscar Peterson Trio, and drummer Louie Bellson for three standards and a lyrical ballad medley, but the well-constructed solos on the blues "Chocolate Sundae" (during which every note seems to fit perfectly) are the most memorable.
