The new formation has plays driving Power Pop Rock with influences of 50's and 60's Rock & Roll and Old School Punk from the 90's. The driving beats, melodic hooks, and ripping guitar solos are what makes this record an instant classic. This debut album is a must have for any fun of the genre.

The Spastic Hearts started writing music together the spring of 2012, and began recording their first self-titled album that summer. It was released in December 2012, and in May 2013 The Hearts toured Europe with friends from Italy - The Teenage Bubblegums to support the new self-titled debut album. In 2014 they have just finished recording their second full-length album, which should be releasing really soon.
