The Nicki Allan Sextet - You're Gonna Hear from Me (2012)

New album from the talented and vivacious Leeds based vocalist Nikki Allan, who recently won Jazz Yorkshire Vocalist of the Year.

Nikki graduated from the Leeds College of Music and quickly became a professional vocalist and voice teacher, working in the fields of pop, jazz and musical theatre. Her current academic credits include Senior Lecturer in vocal studies at Leeds College of Music, Principal voice coach at the Royal Northern College of Music Foundation degree and visiting lecturer at Chester and Manchester University.

Nikki is renowned for her vocal dexterity, flexibility and ability to emulate effortlessly any vocal style with ease. Her warm rich tone is smooth yet powerful and strong with a richness of dynamics and subtle phrasing that can only come from someone who feels the music as passionately as she does.
