What the fuck are you talking about!? Just seventeen bloody minutes? What the…. I cannot believe this, man! Just seventeen lousy stinking minutes long this ‘In Return’, the second release of Torche takes to blow out seven songs. This really feels like a bummer, a rip off, a disappointment after the raised interest after their debut! Who the hell buys a CD for seventeen minutes? A small comfort is that the thunder pop this ex-Floor band pours out is as good or even better than the debut. This is a nice mix of High On Fire, QOTSA and The Melvins, but original. Also the cover art is sublime, although it’s obvious John Baizley is too much inspired by Mucha. But seriously guys, seventeen minutes? This could have been the greatest follow up record known to man, now I rate this mini CD avant la letter like the debut, and not a penny more… Would this quality lasted a full-length, you guys would have surely passed the ninety mark.
