How It Works

FRSFileMgr™ is a software tool that makes it easy to manage the files on your computer. Consider it the replacement of Windows® Explorer; easier to use; no "fluff", just file management; better control; specialized features to help you get your work done faster. FRSFileMgr provides immediate and direct access to your computer's drives, directories, files, and even network connections, each with their own dedicated menu (shown here on the right). FRSFileMgr is much more task-oriented than Windows Explorer.

You will find a familiar directory browser wherein you can select drives and directories. FRSFileMgr doesn't provide access to the "Control Panel", "Printers", and all the other non-file-related entities that Windows® Explorer shows. This makes the interface simple, clean, and direct.

There are no secrets either. FRSFileMgr shows you all the files and directories on your computer. Nothing is hidden, except where the system doesn't allow you access (such as with network drives). The idea behind FRSFileMgr is for you to regain control over your computer (in the screen capture on the right you can see directories that are normally hidden from you, such as "$RECYCLE.BIN", "Boot", etc.).
