Simple renaming solutions
In TweakNow Renamer, renaming a file is a matter of applying appropriate rules to a file name. Using rule mechanism, a simple renaming task can be quickly done by simply selecting appropriate rule from the menu. If you need to do a complex renaming operation, multiple rules can be combined together to perform a single file renaming operation. There are five (5) simple rule that you can use:
Convert Case
Convert file name to upper case , lower case, or title (proper) case
Find and Replace
Search for word and replace it with other. You can also use a regular expression syntax for a complex find and replace task.
Insert Text and Number
Add text and number to a certain position in file name. When available, meta data (shooting date and time, camera mode, etc.) can be automatically inserted to file name. There are three insert mode that can be used: normal, overwrite, replace.
Remove Characters (text)
Remove characters (text) at a certain position in file name. The remove operation can be performed forward or backward.
Remove Number
Remove number at a certain position in file name. The remove operation can be performed forward or backward.
Remove Empty Space
Remove empty space from file name.
Undo your last change
Suddenly changing your mind after permanently renaming the files? Don't worry. TweakNow FileRenamer include an Undo feature to revert your previous action.
