In The Trance Experience, An Introduction to Electronic Dance Music, DJ Torsten Fassbender shares his unique insights into the world of popular electronic music, giving you a rare insiders view of electronic dance music and the club scene. Fassbenders productions and remixes for artists such as Blank & Jones, Luna Park, and PPK can be found on many compilations and on the playlists of top DJs. With Fassbender as your own personal guide, youll get valuable hands-on experience in three popular genres: Vocal Trance, Remix, and Chillout.

DVD 1: Session 1 (Original Mix)
In this DVD you will find platform specific session files for all supported DAWs. They include 2 versions: the Full version as well as a Focused version, designed for systems that will not run the Full version due to power or hardware limitations. (To better understand how these Focus sessions are designed, please refer to the Focus Sessions Read Meo document.) You will also find an Audio Files folder which contains the sessions audio files, and a Waves 5 presets folder, in which all plug-in presets are stored.

DVD 2: Session 2 (Remix)
This DVD has the same structure as DVD 1, only with the Remix version of the session.

DVD 3:
This DVD includes Bounced versions for both Sessions 1 and 2. The Bounced versions are structured like the original sessions, only the tracks have been pre-processed with their inserts and are therefore much lighter. For more information concerning the Bounced versions, please refer to the Bounced Sessions Read Meo document located on the DVD.

DVD 4:
Includes Session 3 (Chill Remix) in all its versions. The Full version, Bounced versions, and Focused versions. The structure of the DVD is the same as on DVDs 1 and 2.

DVD 5:
This DVD includes Bounced versions of the three sessions for Apple GarageBand (Mac OS X only). It also includes all the extra materials that are included with The Trance Experience. On this DVD, you will find the Tutorial Sessions discussed in the book, all the plug-in presets that were used in the sessions, instruments patches, MIDI files, samples, and bounced mixes of all three sessions in 3 resolutions: 24-bit/44.1 kHz, 16-bit/44.1 kHz and MP3.

DVD 6:
This DVD includes the installers for all the Waves plug-ins. Please note, these are Demo versions and are time-limited. Please refer to the installers for specific information.
