Chapter 2: The War in the Air
Tells the story of women who took to the skies to defend their country, as well as two women whose skills as pilots helped make the Nazi blitzkrieg so successful. Featuring the stories of pilots ferrying fighter planes from factories to the frontline and the Russian female bombing regiments who would fly night-time raids against the advancing German frontline. Plus, 98-year-old Grace Taylor shares her memories of working on Britain's huge anti-aircraft guns.

Chapter 3: Boots on the Ground
Women who fought on the battlefields of the Second World War, from female snipers in Soviet Russia to Queen Alexandra's Imperial Nursing Service and the air ambulance orderlies of the Women's Auxiliary Airforce.
