Coming off the bad end of a doomed love affair, and trying to cope with her Mother's death, Marianne -a young cellist- is surprised to discover that her Father's last will and testament was not correctly administered. The will reveals the existence of a lover, who is still alive and living not far from Marianne's childhood family home. The mistress is a pianist named Béatrice. Her journey to find this mysterious woman takes Marianne to places she thought she'd left behind forever.
A la suite du décès de sa mère et au lendemain d’une déception amoureuse, Marianne - une jeune violoncelliste - découvre le testament de son père et avec lui l’existence d’une femme passionnément aimée : Béatrice. A celle-ci, il léguait un disque de Piaf (Hymne à l’amour), une sacoche de voyage et des boutons de manchettes. Son testament n’ayant jamais été respecté, Marianne part à la rencontre de Béatrice, retrouve les lieux et les personnages de son enfance et est confrontée à de surprenantes apparitions…
Inspiré du roman d’Anne Wiazemsky "Hymnes à l’amour".
