His character seems to be able to have his way with almost any and every woman he sees- which isn't all that different from most characters he played, but in this story its a little scary. He's a cold bastard and the film's violence always stems from the relentless nature of his drive to get what he wants.

Professor Ayres discovers a secret in an ancient stone and when he opens a crypt, he revives zombies that kill him. He had invited three couples to visit him in his manor to reveal his discovery. However, they never get around to meeting the professor. Out of the blue, the zombies attack them and they seek shelter in the mansion. The creatures put the manor under siege while they protect themselves trying to survive to the horde of zombies.

A very well written murder mystery with great characters and a great story. The main character, Tracy Crosswhite is both likeable and believable. The other characters are interesting and realistic. The story keeps you interested, does not cross the realism boundary, moves at a good pace, very little filler and is easy to read.

This is the 6th book in the author's Karen Vail series (the first in the series isThe 7th Victim (The Karen Vail Series, 1) and it is a great way for people who have not read the first books to jump into the series. I have not read any of the earlier books in the series and the way the author structured this book, you do not need to have read any of the earlier books to really enjoy this book.
