Three sisters take their small inheritance and move from Kansas to California in search of rich husbands. To start with Pamela poses as a socialite and Moira and Elizabeth pretend to be her staff.

Harry C. Thomas and his wife Susan have a hard time keeping track of their three daughters; all different in their own way. There is the eldest, Hasriet, ready for marriage, and Mary, engaged to a car dealer named Ted Foster. The youngest, Harriet, is still an unpredictable adolescent with her head in the clouds.

Ray Obiedo (as guitarist) and Norbert Stachel (playing tenor sax as part of the Tower of Power horns) help turn the throbbing retro-soul meets Memphis-flavored soul jam "Horn-afication" into one of the most memorable cuts on keyboardist Roger Smith's Consider This. Smith begins with the moody undercurrent of the Hammond B-3 beneath the bright, percussive brass, then keeps that brooding texture going beneath a call and response between the horns and his happy-go-lucky keyboard melody.

Set during the Peninsular Campaign of the Napoleonic War, Mr Midshipman Easy has just joined the Royal Navy. He is very keen to do well (some would say too keen) but luckily he has an understanding captain to pull him out of the various adventures he seems to get involved in.

The Four Men of the title are British WWI veterans who decide to work secretly against enemies of the country. They aren't above a bit of murder or sabotage to serve their ends, but they consider themselves to be true patriots.
