And now for something completely different! is a Canadian independent comic book written and illustrated by Canadian artist and master graphic novelist Dave Sim, the creator of the 300-issue, 6,000-page epic ("... the longest-running originally English-language comic book series ever by a single creative team."). The premise of the comic book is threefold: a parody of fashion magazines, a history of photorealism in comic books (starting with Alex Raymond's in 1946), and a surreal super-heroine comic (read that the strangest super-heroine comic book of all time). Great art and layout work, though. Posted here purely for purposes of trivia and equal-opportunity exposure. Don't say I didn't warn you.
