The Veil #1

is the new horror/mystery series from IDW that chronicles the life of Chris Luna, a down-on-her-luck girl who transfers to Maine to start afresh as a private detective--the only thing is that she can talk to the dead and her clientele are all dead. The rather sloppily-written issue solicitation says this is a four-issue miniseries. It has been getting good reviews since its release, though, primarily on the mood and nuance writer-artist tandem of El Torres and Gabriel Hernandez set.
