The birth of a terrifying new world is at hand. is the 15-issue comic-book series that set the standard for comics of the undead, published by Dark Horse Comics. The Zombie World series consists of the 3-issue miniseries first published in September, 1997; the one-shot (December 1997); the 2-issue (January 1998); another one-shot (April 1998); the 4-issue miniseries (May 1998); and the 4-issue miniseries (June 1998). It has since become a cult classic.
