Michael Straczynski’s run of seventeen issues with the title that he helped relaunch in the top ten in the duration of his run, and this issue really caps the overall very high quality of his work. The other half of the creative team, Olivier Coipel could not join Straczynski for this finale, but Marko Djurdjevic more than admirably fills in for such absence with his handling of the emotional as well as dynamic aspects of the story development. The action leaps off the pages. Nothing earth-shattering here; simply a good comic book story confidently, competently done right, and which would ably pass the baton to the new creative team that will handle the next issue.
