+ Thor Vol. 3 Issues #1-605 Plus Annual, Specials and One-Shots Complete
started with issue #1 released July 5, 2007 with cover date September 2007 and the latest issue is Thor #606 released January 27, 2010, which is the conclusion to the three-part story arc, "Latverian Prometheus". It is marked first of all by the run of writer J. Michael Straczynski who, together with artists Olivier Coipel and Marko Durdjevic, essentially took a moribund Marvel title, rebooted it and gave it a power boost, to make it one of, if not the strongest and best, of all current Marvel titles. Many thought after Straczynski left the title would suffer, but in these last three issues the creative team of Keiron Gillen and Billy Tan have proved with the given opportunity that they can indeed fill the shoes vacated by their illustrious predecessors, doling out a nicely balanced helping of grand action and character-driven plot. The energy given off by the climactic battle between Thor and Dr. Doom and the utter insidiousness of Doom and Loki in terms of story and visual impact are truly to be experienced. The Siege tie-in begins in . Great stuff, high quality Minutemen scan.
