The Classical Saxophone

Is the saxophone a classical or a popular instrument? An irrelevant question for master saxophonist Arno Bornkamp. He can let his instrument mourn with melancholy, and scream with laughter. This 2-CD set contains a wide variety of works either originally written for the saxophone, or arranged for it. CD 1 contains works for saxophone and orchestra from France (where the saxophone enjoys a great popularity), CD 2 is for saxophone and piano.
