…Viel Geflöte, weitausladender, komplexer Liedaufbau, Folk, Hard Rock und Seventies Touch verleihen den Klängen der fünf Amerikanern schon fast skandinavische Züge. Etwas weniger Änglagård hören und verminderter, düsterer Weltschmerz hätten der Eigenständigkeit aber sicherlich gut getan. Ihnen vorzuwerfen, dass sie ihr Potential nur im Plagiat verschleudern ist aber dennoch nicht gerechtfertigt. Doch muss man bei dieser Art von Musik schon genau hinhören, um in den rein instrumentalen, oft sehr crimsonesken Tönen mit wiederholten Dynamiksprüngen zwischen laut und leise, Tempoverschiebungen zwischen Hektik und Ruhe, einigermaßen Halt zu finden….arlequins.it:
