Once upon a time there was a little Italian restaurant and Jazz club in a divided town with many international musicians …
I ripped this LP for my own pleasure and memories, but if you like it too, I won't mind. Ginos La Bohème was a little place in Berlin Kreuzberg where musicians and squatters used to enjoy Italian cooking, good wine, and a little jam session after midnight. Chef de cuisine was Gino Merendino from Sicily, who started playing accordeon at the age of 14 and played in various Jazz bands all over Europe. Here the style is Folk with some jazzy injections and Italian lyrics. You can download Gino's 2nd record on his website.
