A wonderful blend of trio, quartet, saxophone/piano duo and solo piano tracks, "Georgia Sunset" is a wonderful showcase for pianist Joe Alterman's exciting, tasteful & swinging sound. One of the many highlights of this album is a very special piece entitled "The Theme", which Alterman co-wrote with the legendary Les McCann.
