This edition presents the classic John Coltrane Quarte’s complete never before heard concert at the Schwab Auditorium at Pennsylvania State University on January 19, 1963. These performances were taken from non-professional tapes and, although the sound quality is very good throughout, some small imperfections may exist and some tunes are incomplete. Every effort has been made to correct them using modern audio technology.
