Recent headlines involving Mark Kozelek might have been cause to put him on the naughty list, but the singer is doing his part to spread holiday cheer this year by releasing an album of Christmas songs.
Sings Christmas Carols will be released on November 4th via Caldo Verde Records. The project is billed as a solo acoustic album featuring some standard holiday fare with a classic Kozelek twist. It was recording in 2013 in San Francisco. Unsurprisingly, there’s no guest spot by War on Drugs.
