Lux (stylised in all caps) is the upcoming fourth studio album by Spanish singer Rosalía, scheduled for release on 7 November 2025 through Columbia Records. It is her next full-length album after Motomami (2022). Its physical editions contain eighteen tracks; digital editions omit three. Lux was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra under the conduction of Daníel Bjarnason, with multiple arrangements by Caroline Shaw and Rosalía as its executive producer. The album includes guest appearances by Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Yahritza y su Esencia, and Yves Tumor.
lux was described by a press release as exploring lyrical themes of "feminine mystique, transformation, and transcendence", and its songs are inspired both by Rosalía's romantic relationships and her relationship with God. Its track listing is split across four movements, with lyrics in fourteen different languages[a]—Rosalía's native Catalan and Spanish, along with Arabic, English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Mandarin, Portuguese, Sicilian, and Ukrainian. Each language's lyrics correspond to the life of a different female saint. A significant portion of the album's creation, which took between two and three years overall, was dedicated to learning how to sing in the various languages. Rosalía often started songs by sketching out rough lyrics with Google Translate before taking her drafts to professional translators and phoneticians. Music critics and journalists generally classified Lux as either classical music or experimental pop with classical influences.
The lead single and music video, "Berghain", was released on 27 October 2025. Upon its release, it topped the Spanish Singles Chart and peaked within the top 10 on the US Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. A second song, "Reliquia", was uploaded to Spotify on 4 November before being shortly removed. The album received critical acclaim in pre-release reviews from music critics, who were impressed with the album's ambition and grand, orchestral sound.
