    In Zeiten, die unberechenbar und abenteuerlich sind, kommt das achte Studioalbum der Hannoveraner heraus: »Celebrate Nothing« heißt es und es ist ein Kontrapunkt, das Gegenteil von Nichts, eine Feier, eine Freude, eine musikalische Renaissance: 12 Songs wurden geschrieben, mit Kreativität und viel Fantasie, mit Charme und Chuzpe: »Circle Of Desire« ist ein schneller Indie-Rock, absolut live-tauglich mit My-Fist-Your-Face-Qualitäten, »Falling« besticht durch eine Northern-Pop-Atmosphäre, die englischen Midlands lassen grüßen, »Last Call« ist ein bühnengerechtes Flugzeugabsturzdrama im Breitwandformat; das titelgebende »Celebrate Nothing« suchen ein verloren gegangenes Soft-Rock-Gefühl und dann eine Ballade wie »Better Now«, das in seiner Form einen 90er-Jahre-Terry-Hoax-Instinkt befördert; dazu Up-Tempo mit »Don't Need Somebody« und ein Metropolen-Appeal bei »Screwed Without You«. »Welcome To Tomorrow« spielt mit Funk-Anleihen und einem ungestümen Impro-Ende und »Meanwhile« kracht wie ein Grunge-Song zu Seattle-Zeiten.

    Auf einen Instrumente- und Sampler-Parcours wurde dabei verzichtet, lediglich Streicher bei »Welcome to Tomorrow« und einige Keyboard- und Pianoklänge wurden von Lutz Krajenski hinzugefügt. Produzenten-Legende Mousse T. hat zusätzlich bei »Celebrate Nothing« ein lockeres Wurlitzer eingestreut. »Celebrating nothing, and everybody is here.«

    »Celebrate Nothing« hat die Band zusammen mit Arne Neurand (Donots, Guano Apes, Revolverheld, uvm.) und Jakob Himmelein (Chiefland, Kyles Tolone, Scorpions – Assistant Engineer) beginnend im Februar 2024 im Peppermint Park Studio in Hannover aufgenommen und produziert. Immer im Blick dabei – Gefühle, Stimmungen und Authentizität, ein organischer Klang, Echtheit und Natürlichkeit.

    Bei den ersten Live-Auftritten im Jahr 2025 ist das neue Songmaterial schon bestens angekommen. Die Spannung ist da, die Vorfreude ist riesig. Und ein ehemaliger »Player« ist zurück: Gründungsvater Martin Wichary hat sich der Band wieder angeschlossen. Die erfolgreiche Terry-Hoax-Besetzung der 90er-Jahre ist somit wieder am Start.
