The singer, multi-instrumentalist and conductor Richard "Billy" Vaughn (Kentucky, 1919-1991) provides one of his most important recordings with his orchestra, recording worldwide hit songs that were previously performed by other artists and that he also exalted with their own arrangements. Few directors have been better known than Billy with that kind of success.
