Isabel Vargas Lizano (Costa Rica, 1919), aka "Chavela Vargas', was born in Costa Rica, had a difficult childhood and lived for 17 years in Mexico, where he began to reap popularity from the 50s. Her personal career had ups and downs and for more than a decade (80's) was separated from the public. His image offered partially shades that soured popularity.
