Ligabue - Secondo Tempo (2008)

Secondo tempo è una raccolta di brani di Luciano Ligabue. Uscito il 30 maggio 2008, dopo Primo tempo, l'album, contenente i singoli del periodo fra il 1997 (Su e giù da un palco) e il 2005 (Nome e cognome), entra direttamente al primo posto della classifica dei dischi più venduti.

I brani di repertorio, come accaduto per Primo tempo, sono stati tutti rimasterizzati da Ted Jensen agli Sterling Studios di New York. Anche quest'uscita discografica è composta da un CD con le canzoni del "best of". Nel cd sono compresi tutti i singoli usciti nel periodo da Su e giù da un palco a oggi.

Sono, inoltre, presenti tre inediti tra cui Ho ancora la forza, scritto insieme a Francesco Guccini, già pubblicato nell'album Stagioni di quest'ultimo e premiato come canzone dell'anno 2000 con la Targa Tenco. Il primo singolo inedito estratto si intitola Il centro del mondo ed è stato trasmesso in radio a partire da venerdì 9 maggio 2008. Il terzo inedito è invece Il mio pensiero, in radio dal 5 settembre 2008. Secondo Tempo è uscito anche in formato compresso per il download e nello store di ITunes arricchito da una bonus track: Non fai più male, uscita nel 1999 come b-side del singolo Una vita da mediano e inserita soltanto nella versione in vinile dell'album Miss Mondo.

Fino al Novembre 2009 la raccolta ha venduto più di 350.000 copie.

Secondo Tempo is a collection of pieces by Luciano Ligabue. Released May 30, 2008, after first time, the album containing the singles of the period between 1997 (on and off a stage) and 2005 (Name), debuted at the top of the ranking of the best selling .

Luciano Ligabue (born March 13, 1960), more commonly known as Ligabue or Liga, is an Italian rock singer-songwriter, film director and writer.
Ligabue was born in Correggio, in the province of Reggio Emilia (Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy). Before becoming a successful singer, he held various jobs, working in agriculture and in factories. He entered the music world in 1987, when he founded the amateur band Orazero. For this band he wrote several original songs, with which they participated in several local and national contests. The following year his fellow Emilian singer-songwriter Pierangelo Bertoli was the first to discover Ligabue's writing talents, and included one of Ligabue's songs, "Sogni di Rock'n'Roll" ("Dreams of rock n roll"), in his new LP.
