Celebrated Blues/Soul/Jazz songwriter, vocalist and recording artist Julie Black has a new album being released under the BOJA Records label (owned by music veteran Bob Langford) on October 15, 2014. The eagerly anticipated new album entitled “Follow the Muse” contains thirteen original songs written by Black, and all original artwork.
Black’s music is powerful, genuine and inspiring, conveying a level of emotional honesty that is rare. The album begins with a sexy funk track entitled “Shout It”, and closes with “The Call” which may be Black’s most powerful musical statement yet. From start to finish the album is an extraordinary musical journey.
