Auch auf ihrer dritten CD setzen die Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion ganz auf ihr bewährtes Rezept: Klassische Melodien - angereichert mit viel rhythmischem Temperament. Bei der Besetzung gehen sie aber diesmal aufs Ganze. Da wird nicht gespart, sondern gleich mit sinfonischer Großbesetzung aufgewartet. Die Kollegen des Münchner Rundfunkorchesters unter der Leitung von Roger Epple waren Feuer und Flamme bei diesem Projekt. Und das spürt man in jedem Takt. Wenn dann Bizets Habanera aus der Carmen Suite oder Mozarts berühmte 40. Sinfonie im Salsa-Rhythmus erklingen, dann wird so richtig eingeheizt im Konzertsaal. Und die Mischung aus stimmungsvoller Klassik und heißen karibischen Rhythmen geht voll auf und lässt keinen Hörer kalt.
