Fairyland is the 3rd album Moondream, a group that had very pleased with the 1st album , Dreamland , released in 2004. If the pocket allows sweat a gothic or medieval world , it is not . Again , Lothar has chosen the wrong lens . Like Moondream elsewhere . With Fairyland it remains in the same setting chimerical dream of a land and a kingdom for the fairies. Unfortunately, if the securities have a similar subject , or follow the road of utopian kingdoms , the magic is not the same . If Dreamland had a spontaneous freshness , Fairyland any one album calculated. An album of grooves carved in the Dreamland. And , as this album Fairyland opens with a play called Intro . A heavyweight title with a stellar synth floating among the waves of his choruses. The modulations are flexible and fueled by a movement down and to look slightly synth violin . Dance of the Elves begin exactly as Intro ended . The two pieces could have easily fondrent , instead of this strange cut, which is also found on the first album. Moreover, the more we advance the more we find good similarities . Having said that Dance of the Elves is a nice title to the synth pop. Nothing too complicated , good supporting a percussion rhythm and a simple melodic theme on a rotary synthesizer . Forest Dwarfs of the cons is a small discovery. A rotary movement throbbing , pulsating beats and with a fine play synth which raises some good solos. Hypnotic, the tempo is punctuated with subtle modulations and varied topics and measure. One of the best tracks on Fairyland which continues with the Sea of Tears, '' a title -flavored techno dance pop with its cymbals '' to the'' tschitt tschitt '' . A beautiful piece with a very beautiful melody and synths structured charmers . But it's also the kind of simplistic piece has been around for a time , as Soulvoyager the best title on this CD , with Longing For . Actually Fairyland is a good cd, damn well built , perhaps a bit too. Moondrean could have gone further exploit its borders a little better instead of just reassuring structures that will please everyone , because it is too beautiful, too pink . Throughout his musical journey, we are charmed by his compositions that take place in a basic harmony , without lapsing into the grooves of the complexity. If you liked Dreamland , you will probably Fairyland. An album melodic , without risk or fury . Obscure, like most works of CT , with a night at each corner to help us secure, we cajole . The plain in which more common . A beautiful New Berlin School .
