Under the auspices of ADAMUM of the University of Madrid and with the collaboration of the then Ministry of Education and Science took place on February 18, 1975 this historic recording, which involved, while the first live album of Paco de Lucia, the first show dedicated to flamenco in the 'cathedra'l of Spanish classical music, the Teatro Real in Madrid, and a milestone for the future of flamenco guitar. A great Spanish poet said: "… Paco de Lucia is honored as acting in an so illustrious enclosure… and also that enclosure is honored when starts to play the music of this Andalusian guitarist.Track list:
He was joined in the concert his older brother Ramon de Algeciras. The portfolio of eight subjects offered is based on the interpretation of various works and flourishes that had been included by Paco de Lucia in his previous albums. The recording offered here is of analog source and corresponds to the edition of 1975. Subsequently have been released new editions in1995 and 2005 (covers also included). The recording is available in non stop way, without separation of tracks, as contained in the original, not to alter the live setting.
