    The Godfathers had a brief moment of critical adulation in the late '80s, particularly around the release of their debut album, Birth, School, Work, Death. Their Best of collection takes its title from their debut and features all of the highlights from that record, in addition to the best tracks from their subsequent albums. Consequently, it's the best, most consistent record in their catalog. (4.5/5)
