    This is the stunning film of Uriah Heep live on stage at The Magician s Birthday Party 2004. The climax of the show is an unforgettable version of Look At Yourself featuring a drum frenzy with special guests Osibisa who recorded the original studio album in 1971.

    This is 5th of what has become an annual party event. The 1st, Acoustically Driven (with Strings & Percussion) and 2nd, The Magician's Birthday Party (feat. Hensley/Lawton) are unquestionably 5 STAR discs. The 3rd Live USA and 4th Magic Night (feat. Heather Findlay-Mostley Autumn) fall short being patchy and not flowing. This disc I thought would struggle for justification but it succeeds by capturing Heep doing what they do best, going for it live! At an average Heep gig they are head and shoulders above the competition and this is them on a great night. The classics and a few welcome, surprise, never done before live tracks. Most bands could learn from the enthusiasm and enjoyment, professionalism and finesse they show throughout + guests Osibisa reliving their performance on Look At Yourself for the 1st time live on stage.
