A criminal bides his time at a seedy motel, waiting for his boss after killing several men and making away with a mystery bag.

Black & White album by James Harman / James Harman Band was released Nov 24, 2009 on the Hep cat label. At more than an hour, "Black & White" could have used some pruning, and its peak moments don't reach quite as high as those on last year's "Cards on the Table." But as Harman proceeds along a bluesman's path where the foremost rule is to keep on keepin' on, he has produced another keeper.

Story follows Sophia, who is severely depressed after the deaths of both her parents within six months. Convinced that the Afterlife is mere oblivion, and that this life is meaningless, she retreats within herself, only to be drawn out of her depressive funk by an unexpected romance with a man named Adam. After Adam disappears mysteriously into the depths of a haunted apartment building, Sophia vows to pursue him, even if it means walking over the threshold into the realm of death.

Veronica suddenly finds herself in a surreal and horrifying marathon race. The rules are simple: If you are lapped, you die. If you step off the path, you die. Many will start but only one may cross the finish line alive.
