Tunelle is a Spring instrument. Its name is a contraction of two words that characterise this instrument sonically and visually: 'tuned tunnel'. We've built two different versions of this instrument - Metal Tunelle and Wooden Tunelle.

Back in England they meet Errol Kennedy, drummer of the American band Midnight Express, with which they will create the funk trio Imagination. IMAGINATION name is a tribute to one of the most famous songs of John Lennon: "Imagine".

Hosokawa has a highly distinct sound to his music, especially when it comes to his orchestral works, characterized by eerie strings and occasional bursts of percussions, leaving me with chills. It's easy to draw a parallell with Scelsi in compositional style, although Hosokawa's music is far more textural and detailed. It all sounds like the whole orchestra is about to break …..
