A commissioned jazz suite to commemorate the 60th anniversary of a turning points in the civil rights movement, No Tears Suite brings together local composers Christopher Parker & vocalist Kelley Hurt with an incredible band featuring grammy award winning drummer, Brian Blade and Ellington band veteran saxophonist Bobby LaVell.

Zipoli in Diamantina: the first recording made on the historic organ Almeida e Silva of Diamantina (1787), state of Minas Gerais, Brazil—consists of the complete organ works published by Domenico Zipoli (Prato, Italy, 1688 – Córdoba, Argentina, 1726) in his Sonate d’Involatura per Organo e Cimbalo (Rome, 1716), besides some works attributed to the composer from the manuscript Sones mo organo (1746), a miscellany of keyboard works from the Jesuit mission of San Rafael de Velasco, Bolivia.

From the elated dream to the bitter reality: to provide a proper rendering of Franz Schubert's music, with its enormous range of expressions including all the intermediate tones, the instrument of choice must be the Fortepiano, if only for its similitude to the pianos used during Schubert's lifetime. The model used in the present recording is based on the grand piano of the Viennese master Conrad Graf, an instrument that Schubert himself owned. Its six pedals allow Schubert's music to be played with multifaceted pliancy and depth.

The Richter Ensemble performs music from the 17th to the 20th century exclusively on gut strings and uses its experience with historical performance practice to heighten the sense for the development of musical language over the centuries. The ensemble is passionately dedicated to the music of the Second Viennese School and, based on its research, has decided that the time is ripe to steer the perception of this music in a new direction, on the path of rediscovering and recapturing not only its modernity but also its connections with the past.

After the very acoustic "¿Dónde estás María?". I decided to try a new experiment taking as a reference the legendary group "Cumbia siglo XX" which is a group who explores a futuristic vision of coastal cumbia in the 80s, together with other groups such as "Grupo folclórico", "2000 voltios" and others, mainly under the label Machuca and Felito records. This new 80s cumbia was a combination of funky basses and a further evolution of the rhythms, blending this style with disco and even rock music and superimposing the traditional versus the urban context and the modernity.
