New concerto recording from acclaimed French pianist. Following the acclaimed Bach recording 'Spira, Spera' in early 2021, Emmanuel Despax releases a recording of his most treasured piano concerto alongside the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Andrew Litton. The concerto is paired with the 16 Waltzes (op.39) for piano four-hands, performed here with his wife and fellow pianist, Miho Kawashima.

Most of the tracks on this album from Camouflage band member Heiko Maile were recorded with a basic stereo (2-track) cassette recorder. The studio set-up looked more or less like this: a drum computer (no Midi) and a sequencer were connected to each other and synchronized rhythmically. I crafted melodic sequences and rhythms and usually transposed them to the desired pitch manually, using the keyboards. Other live instruments were played over the top.

First time on vinyl. In his 2017 book I Am the Wolf: Lyrics and Writings, Lanegan states that the songs the songs on Here Comes that Weird Chill were recorded at the same time as the material that would be included on his next album Bubblegum: "For months I had been using off-time from my gig as an auxiliary singer for Queens Of The Stone Age to try and complete a record, but as usual, my own insanity would not allow it. When it was all said and done, I recorded enough for two records, with the title for the first coming from something Greg Dulli said while shuddering involuntarily in the sudden cold wind walking to my car after a Twilight Singers recording session…"

The second installment of LP On LP is the “Waves” performed by Phish on May 26, 2011, at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel Woods, New York. The 28-minute “Waves” recorded by Jon Altschiller and mixed by Scheiner comes from a tech rehearsal on the eve of the first show of Summer Tour 2011. Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro first premiered the Bethel Tech “Waves,” which includes elements of John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme” theme, on an episode of From The Archives broadcast on Phish’s The Bunny radio station at their July 2011 Super Ball IX festival.
