Hélène de Montgeroult, one of the founder members of the Paris Conservatoire, was a key figure in the development of the piano and piano technique in the early romantic period. Francesco Geminiani (1687-1762), son of the violinist Giuliano Geminiani. After a season at the Teatro dei Fiorentini in Naples and a two-year spell at the Cappella Palatina in Lucca, Francesco left his homeland for good in 1714 to pursue a career in London, Dublin and Paris.

In Germany, Matt Andersen has been known at least since his impressive performance (and appearance) on Inas Nacht on 22 July 2017, but the prototype of the powerhouse performer, blessed with a god-like soul voice and an awe-inspiring stage presence, is also fully convincing with his mates, the 10-piece band The Mellotones.
