Known as the dynamic gospel church-bred lap steel player fronting the Family Band, Robert Randolph establishes himself as a seasoned artist with his debut solo album Preacher Kids on Sun Records.

Masterful trio interplay reliant on deeply honed three-way communication and a refined sense of understatement make Fred Herschis third recording for ECM an essential entry into the piano trio canon. Hersch tackles a handful of 20th century compositions n spanning from standards to less frequented jazz tunes n as well as three originals, with Drew Gress on bass and Joey Baron on drums n two longstanding companions of Fredis who have played with him on and off since the late 80s and early 90s respectively.

The band then recruited Art Of Tones, who has had a string of hits with originals and remixes on numerous labels including Local Talk, Glitterbox, Z Records, and King Street to remix the track. Expanding on the exuberance of the original song, this uplifting Disco House with jangling guitar cuts, slappy bass and thumping drums is sure to heat up dancefloors in the summer of 2025.
