+ Incredible Hulk Issues #600-605
The "Fall of the Hulks" story officially starts in this issue. Writer Greg Pak, unlike Jeph Loeb over at the other series, balances his story with thoughtful character development. Jeph Loeb of course moves his stories at breakneck pace. What makes this issue great--aside from the the Hulk going head-to-head versus the ubiquitous and diabolical (Marvel's favorite villain for the moment, it seems) Dr. Doom--is the visuals provided by new artist Paul Pelletier. The back-up feature of the Savage She-Hulk has also been replaced by a brawl between She-Hulk and Red She-Hulk. Great issue. Oh and one other thing... since this issue directly sets up some of the events in , you have to read first. A Minutemen scan.
